JESMOND LIBRARY, THURSDAY 27 MARCH, 1.30-3.30PM

Join our mindful craft and art activities, inspired by nature!

This WILDFLOWER INKING WORKSHOP will teach you the skills of inking and printing to create stunning wildflower scenes. Perfect for spring, talented artist and florist Fiona McKeown will show you how to build up your picture using layers and various easy inking techniques. You can create a card or a picture to take home with you, of gift to a friend or loved one.    

All workshops are delivered by paper artist and florist Fiona McKeown, founder of Folly + Bird Flowers. Fiona creates sculptures and canvases from paper and objects found in nature.She is currently exhibition at the Biscuit Factory in the Ouseburn Valley. Her bouquets can be bought at Jesmond Food Market, first and third Saturday of the month.

Tea and coffee facilities will be available, either from the kitchen or the tea and coffee machine. Jesmond Library is situated on St George’s Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle, NE2 2DL. There is street parking available, with some permit restrictions.

Please note that Workshop bookings are not refundable once paid for. They can, however, be transferred to another participant for the same session.
