ENGLISH BLUEBELL, PAPER
The English Bluebell is one of the most iconic British flowers. Found in dappled woods, the drifts of blue, nodding stems encapsulate Spring.
Our paper bluebell is a delicate, arched thing of beauty, of blue-est blue in colour. The design features the delicate, arched English Bluebell, endangered by the larger, straight-stemmed Spanish bluebell. We found these bluebells in drifts of blue in Northumberland National Park, near Hadrian’s Wall and just had to encapsulate their simple beauty!
The bluebells are created by hand from finest crepe and hand-inked, finished off with the distinctive strappy leaves.
A pop of spring in your home!
Unique to Folly + Bird, designed by paper artist Fiona McKeown.
The bluebells can be bought as a single flower, and work perfectly as a trio or a bunch - they will add a natural simple pleasure to your home, or make a lovely gift.
Choose from 3, 5, 6 or 7 bell flowers (see photo 2). Or a bluebell mounted on a simple plinth of local red cedar (photos 6).
Keep paper flowers out of direct sunlight and strong drafts to keep them in best condition. To dust, turn upside down and tap lightly.
